Hello all,
I thought i would post to see what other people are selling on ebay. I do sell the odd thing but its items that sell for a couple of pounds if I'm lucky. I have found myself looking on ebay before i sell and find myself putting the items in the car boot box as they seem to be selling for pennies.
Do people tend to stick to the same items or do they sell anything and everything?
As posted below i am not wanting people to give away there secrets, I just wanted to know is it worth selling everything or sticking with an item that works and sells well.
Hopefully this thread can inspire myself and many other people.
Thanks in advance.

Do you think successful sellers are going to tell you what sells or not? If they did surely you may be competition for them0

Very true, I'm not looking for specific items. I was thinking more along the lines of categories. I suppose the key is to find something that sells well and stick with it. I can imagine sticking with the same item would have its benefits. for example re-listing. Thanks for the reply though.Mortgage over payments.

I sell whatever I can source at a cheap enough price. So true. It is all about buy low sell high - always the same principle. I tend to sell stuff in the same category but if I have an unique item then it is also worth putting on ebay as it is likely to sell.wheatchief wrote: »Hello all,

It also depends on what you want - do you want to sell thousands of small items making a few pounds profit each or a few items making hundreds of pounds of profit each?
Most importantly, whatever you sell, you need to make a name for yourself to be successful0
