If you go to www.qvcuk.com and look at the TV Guide you can look at upcoming shows for 4 weeks' ahead. The shows featured at midnight each day contain the TSV.

Ah, didn't realise you could look four weeks ahead, I usually just look at the week coming.

Must now forget that information ;)

I'm sure I meant to come on here and post something but I have no idea what it was! The toothpaste is STILL going! I wasn't able to was my hair last night as I burned my hand (hot oil splashed when I was cooking sweetcorn fritters:() so couldn't even put it in the water as it hurt so much.
Oh yes! I remember now, whoever was saying about the bumps on their arms going; I have always suffered really badly from spots on my back, shoulders, neck and face. I've noticed though that recently, ie over the last couple of months, my spots have reduced right down. I think it must be something to do with using scrubs more often and regularly using body lotion. I have a cracking spot on my chin today but I think that I'm expecting a visit from Aunt Flo as I've had really sore lumpy bo obs the last couple of days too (TMI, no?!). So it obviously works for me to use the lotions and potions regularly. On that note then, I will have a rummage in stash. I dont think I've got a body scrub.
Can anyone recommend one? It needs to be cheap(ish) and nice and scrubby please. Oh and not S&G, although I like the feel, I didn't like the smell of this. Don't want a lotiony type one though, it's got to be tingly scrubby!
I pledge to do PY(T)NT. In fact, I shall go and do it now whilst ther's nobody in the house. They'll have time to dry before the school run then.

The Clairol foam party is making me feel :o because of what I spent at the hairdressers in February getting the old colour stripped from my hair. The salon that did it is run by ex Toni+Guy people so it cost a lot but for me it's worth it because my hair is very long and it looks lovely now. But I still feel a bit :wall:over the money because I just know everyone will be delighted with the Clairol foam and that's FREE:rotfl:

So to make up for what I spent I'll have to be good in March:A

@fixx I'm surprised that cosmetics are so expensive in Switzerland, mental note I can't afford to go there, and I :heart2: Cadbury Dairy milk too. If you run out send me a PM and I'll send you some, Ireland is the home of Cadburys after all!

You get some Cadbury products over there that we don't have too, don't you!

mitchum 48h deoderant `150ml-would buy again depending on price, not so fussy with deoderants,i like them to be smell free and long as they leave no white marks
in a blink eyeliner -avon- a grey/silver colour not sure of the name because ive sharpened it that much. i do like this and maybe in a couple of years time when i am allowed to buy again avon will either still do it or have something similer.
spell eyeshadow in the shade "do i dazzle you" a lovely pretty pink colour which i have a backup off-this goes lovely with the avon eyeliner :p
nothing else to report i have about 4 spluttering body lotions, they will prob all go around the same time as i rotate depending on what perfume i am wearing. tried to login to halfpriceperfumes (out of interest you understand NOT TO BUY ) my account wont even let me do that and funnily enough i had loads of points....oh well

the In A Blink was probably "Steel Smoke" - a silvery eyeshadow with a dark grey liner. They are an excellent idea - I have that one and the "Espresso" one - both get used regularly!

One UU to report here - an elderly No 7 eyeshadow - I've used the two colours out of the three that I will use, the other is completely matte and I don't get on with those very flat matte colours really so have binned it. I think I will continue with a Clinique Palette I've had for a couple of years - will give me a chance to experiment with some other colours away from my usual boring brown too! :D I reckon there is one or two more applications in the Avon face cream I am using as a body cream, and only a few more applications in my Dry Skin SOS lipbalm & handcream too.

Oh - while I think of it....Welcome aboard to all the lovely NEWBIES!!!

    I'm definitely in too.

I think TSV stands for Today's Special Value

A dangerous combination of three words for anyone on this board!

If only they still were good value (or maybe not!). That's how I got hooked on QVC because the TSV's used to be made up of a kit of full sized products for the price of one (the last Elemis one at Xmas is an instance of this - for the price of a pot of PCMC we were offered 4 extra products in the kit for free). However, since the recession the TSV's had become mean and were filled with travel sizes so that "ml for ml" (to spout one of their phrases) the value was rubbish. It was the old style TSVs that got me "jumping to the phone" and going into panic mode when they got down to limited stock (10% of the day's stock with the full size of this stock going onto the tens of thousands). Nowadays I am enlightened and don't buy from them very often. As I said in my earlier post the YC one may pose problems depending on the cost of the p&p.

Reminds me - I need to do mine too. Been walking round for the past two days with a pinky clear varnish on just my thumbs (theyve got ridges so need extra coats on to look smooth).

I'll be back to check on you later fixx ;)

Need to repaint mine tonight as well. Going to use my favourite OPI red - An Affair in Red Square.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have been reading these threads for months now trying to pluck up the courage to join! My stash is utterly ridiculous but I have promised myself that I will sort it out this weekend and get rid of any make-up etc that has gone off. Then I will post my list in the hope that I shame myself into using up what I have. It's going to be hard though as I think Boots must be my favourite shop! I will probably have to pick up face wipes and shampoo/conditioner at some point unless I unearth some this weekend when I pull everything out!

An IN to report today already (off to a terrible start!) - L'oreal Studio Secrets smoothing restructuring primer. I tried the tester on my hand in my lunch break and it made my skin beautifully smooth so couldn't resist. Then spent the walk back to the office cursing my weakness! At least I fessed up though - could have pretended I bought it yesterday.

    xx

Slightly off topic - but I've realised my upper arms are SMOOTH :T - no rough or goosebumply bits - must be all the lotions, etc I keep slathering on :D

Before I started this challenge, I'd just put lotion or dry oil spray on when I remembered or could be bothered (about once a week!). Whereas now I use them more often, because I know I've got several so need to use them.

Just need just need some warm weather now so I can change from long-sleeved tops.

I've noticed that about my arms too, and also my face is feeler softer and looking smoother :j

I really like the Avon Planet Spa, I think its sugar scrub (at work so can't check). The Planet Spa stuff is usually on offer too. Maybe EH could let you know how much it is.

I'm back in for March - no purchases for February either, I even went into Boots last night to see if they had any Celia Birtwell lunch bags and came out with nothing at all!

I will need Shampoo and Conditioner this month but I think that is it, although I will probably get at least one Glamour mag...

Will have to do a count up of my stash I think and see what I've got for certain - didn't think I had much but then managed to find 12 things to donate so now I'm not so sure!
