Hi,
I moved abroad 3 years ago, left a forwarding address and all the usual stuff, but heard nothing from anyone. On my return to UK I registered with Equifax to check my credit score. My record shows 3 years without a payment late with the exception of aktive kapital. I found that apparently I had missed the last two payments for the grand total of £36 and had to pay Aktiv Kapital £297 which was done. This is 5 months ago, I have recently managed to get their solicitors off my back but when I checked my credit history, I am now registerd as gone away and the account is now defaulted. The special instruction date is 1 month after I paid the amount due, and my credit score has now taken a savage beating. I have spoken to Aktiv Kapital countless times now and nothing changes but every month my score drops some more. Does anyone know of anything I can do?
