Hi guys,
First post so go easy . . .
We are now on the NRAM SVR and want to do something to move our mortgage - £144K in total (House value now £270K)
I am on a DMP and have a lot of debt from being very stupid with money a long time ago - so long, in fact, that the defualts have gone and my credit score is 900!
My wife has a lot of unsecured debt, due to our family of 2 kids costs' going up and up and up - she has around £55K of debt combined into CC's, Loans (including stuff we had to have done to the house, Cars etc).
We would like to re-mortgage but are stuck with NRAM I guess - which is really annoying as we've never ever missed a single payment.
Due to the high levels of debt on her side and my DMP the Mortgage Adivser the CCCS put us in touch with has been unable to help - so I guess we are totally stuck - Can anyone tell me different . . .
All Help Very Gratefully Recieved,
Nic

Stuck I am afraid. A mortgage is for the full term not just for the fixed rate term, if your circumstances change for the worse.
If they got better your lender would be silly to say goodbye.I am a Mortgage AdvisorYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Advisor, so you need to take my word for it.
