Spanish Remortgage

Hi. We have a property in Spain and have a repayment mortgage. At the moment we are finding it difficult to pay and would like to change the mortgage to an interest only mortgage for a couple of years. We only need a mortgage for 50% of the value of the property. We are hitting brick walls could anybody offer some advice.
