joint mortgage robbery

somebody please help 
i have a joint mortgage with my ex partner. when we got the mortgage part of it was an unsecured loan of £10,000 with an option to borrow up to another £10,000.
i have just found out that my ex borrowed another £2000 on the loan without my knowledge (he didnt need my permission apparently) do i have any legal rights to get this money plus the interest it has accrued back?
appreciate any advice

From what you say I guess you could also borrow another £2000 (even £8000) without his knowledge.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0

I suggest that you try to make a charge of theft against your other half and see how far you get.
It sounds like you have a flexible mortgage arrangement and either of you could apply for a draw down.
It would be prudent to have told them about your estrangement and then they might have queried any borrowing.
