Hi,

Me and my partner wanted to enter into a joint morgage however we were both refused due to bad credit on my side.

He has been offered a morgage in his name only, but i'm concerned that I will have no legal rights to the house if we ever seperate (we are not married). Is there any way my name can be put on the morgage? Or any other legal action I can take to ensure I won't be at a disadvantage if we ever do part?

I am in the same situation, i had a contract made up stating that in the event of us breaking up up the house will be split 50-50. Also to be safe i made my will so in the event of my death the house will be hers.
