administration order

Options
I took out an administration order against some of my creditors..I now want to append another creditor..do I have to restart the whole process? also can I include HMRC as a creditor? since they seem to be hitting me with fine after fine, even tho I am an individual on JSA and have nothing to do with self - assessment?

dont bother recommending I speak to them..already sent 3 letters all were ignored

I would speak to national debtline for some advice on your admin order - I don't think you can add in new creditors but they will know for certain. http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=09_administration_orders

I also think that if you try to put a HMRC income tax debt into an admin order they would object as they are a priority debt (in the same way other priority creditors usually object to them).

Regarding the HMRC fines - if these are for not filing self assessment returns then the only way to stop them increasing is to file the relevant returns they ask for. Once you have done that and if all show no tax is due they may be willing to waiver some of the fines you have incurred.

If you receive a notice to complete a self-assessment tax return then you must complete this regardless of whether you have ever been self-employed or ever had any sort of income that is not taxed at source. You can try to appeal to get them to stop sending you notices for future years but must still complete any years that you have received a notice for. They will not change their mind about asking for a return once a notice has been issued for a particular year.
