  • I do visit the dentist regularly, in fact every 6 months when I get my reminder card. Unfortunatly, I ain't got time to visit the dentist at the moment, a bit snowed under with work.

It is a symptom of something not being right.

    It might go away.

    It might get worse.

It might go away and then come back worse.

It might turn into something else which instead of tasting nasty, hurts.

I have no idea which one of these things it will do, nor does anybody else replying to this thread.

It might be inconvienient at the moment, but how inconvienient would racking pain and a head like a football be?

    Or it might go away.

    I know what I'd do.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
