I have had a letter this morning from Halifax saying they are closing both my childrens accounts as they do not let anyone bank with them who has been bankrupt in the past or is bankrupt, I am a trustee as well as their father.
Why can't they just leave the account open but remove me as trustee?

I held one for my nephew with Halifax. They closed it and the OR told me when doing so to ensure the cheque was made payable to my nephew.0
