  • Is this the one on clearance in Argos?

We picked one up last Saturday, and I had returned it within two hours!
As soon as we switched it on, one of the pixels had gone in the middle of the screen.
Took it back asking them to discount it, but Argos would only give me 10% off, so decided on full refund as they had no others in stock.

From the little time we did have it, I have to say that the picture quality wasn't that good, though we only had stuff plugged in via Scart as opposed to HDMI.
However, we picked up a Technika from Tesco the following day and the picture quality was far superior even with the same connections. Technika's screens are made by Samsung......

I assume you're on a £200 budget, else why look at TVs that Which? Magazine list as 'don't buy' due to poor picture quality, reliability, etc.

If you keep an eye on the hotukdeals.com website you'll find almost daily bargains on 32" TVs at £250 or less. There's one right now at £250 for a Samsung LE32B530. A few days ago there was a Panasonic Viera TX-L32U2B also at £250. They are well worth the extra outlay.

    Hi thanks for your reply
No not on a £200 budget...just wanted a second TV for the bedroom only - so spur of the moment thing, as saw this TV in a argos clearance store and went for it.

On getting home, and checking it out online, It has been on sale in many stores for £329-340 which noted when I came home to see what I had saved which was nothing, 'because as mentioned above, it's £10's cheaper in the store'. Any way it's going back for a refund.

    thanks again

We paid £189.99 in Argos for it.

We decided to downsize to a 23" when we bought the one in Tesco as 32" was really a bit big for the room it was going in (but at that price who's arguing!?).
