A drill for general DIY

I'm planning to buy a drill for DIY, this will be my first drill and my first attempt at this sort of thing.
I have shortlisted these three:
Draper 14.4V Cordless Hammer Drill with 2 Batteries
Black and Decker 14.4V Cordless Hammer Drill
And lastly the Bosch 14.4v.
I would prefer the Black and Decker as it's currently half price.
Does anyone own one of them?I've read the reviews and so on but what I really want to know is if I can take it for granted that they are all suitable for putting up shelves, curtain tracks, picture frames etc. It's probably quite a basic question but I'm feeling a bit out of my depth, I have visions of getting something that spirals out of control the moment I switch it on and drives a hole through my foot or something.
Thanks in advance

Dont know what ones the best but used draper tools at work and they last all of 5mins.
Personally wouldnt go near them with my own money.0 -
Most drills will suit your purpose, if you've awkward walls ( such as concrete or brick) then a hammer action on it will come in handy.
My first cordless drill was only a tenner and lasted me years, I only got a new one because the drill had to be plugged in to charge up, it didn't have a separate battery.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
