For all the Mums out there,

I was chatting to DS1 yesterday about when they were younger,(he's 22), and I've discovered that 'Mummy minutes'.

You know the ones,'in a minute', 'just a minute', yep, those...

They cover a time period anywhere between, 'a quarter of an hour to a fortnight'.

Which I thought summed it up lovely...

Have woken up with a stinky cold.

Mr DM actually noticed the difference in the house. He ask if the fairies were coming again, as I have been making the kitchen neat b4
bed and putting breakfast stuff ready etc.

So far bathroom s&s, 1xWM, tidied throws on sofas, wild animal taming (kids),
Off to have hair done, waxing and final dance show rehearsal later.

Good luck ShySarah hope your day goes well.

AnWs Mum - you shouldnt really encourage me you know.... from now on, everyone in this house has to eat straight out of the pot with no cutlery and drink water straight from the tap....or milk out of the carton, whichever :rotfl:

:rotfl:Now that is taking it to a NEW level :T think we will have to go down that route ;)

it's still very hard - it's going to take time to work things through. Assuming i don't book him a one-way trip to siberia instead of the travel I've been trying to sort out....

Hugs for you, Siberia sounds like a plan.

No news about the cat yet, but I'm thinking no news = good news :D

I'm going out for the morning with my sis for some retail therapy so won't get any flying done, but have decluttered one child to school and about to declutter two more. Will look at the list and do some more from it this afternoon - I should be home by 12.

Have a good day, lovlies :)

    Good morning everyone,
Got to fly today as we have visitors arriving tomorrow for the weekend and I'm working tomorrow.

Dippypud - you just reminded me that DS told me when he was about the same age that he'd thought there were two different five minutes - a short five minutes and a long five minutes - I could have ruined his time management abilities for life  :rotfl:
I still have so much carp everywhere that it makes flying very difficult.
Hug to those who want or need, Silver x

We had "in a minute", "soon" and "one day" (which in the case of pet puppy, kitten, tortoise, pony, dinosaur, they're still waiting for :rotfl: Evil mummy :p )
