Hi am I too late to join this week?
I have to buy petrol at £15, so including that i'm going to set a limit of £30 between now and Saturday.
Thank you x0 -
I've got a £20 note in my purse, no debit or credit cards. So that's my limit (though this doesn't include food or petrol, they have been budgeted for separately)...anything over the budgets has to come out of this money so I'm trying to be very strict with myself.
I'm taking a £500 a month pay cut next month in order to do a job that I'm really going to love and has amazing prospects for me, so I've got to be extra strict for a while :S

Hi Shezam and welcome!
It's never too late to join. I'm sure that Pointy will add you.
I have to say I love this challenge. I withdraw my money at the start of the week. Really focuses on what you are spending.
ColleenPamela congrats on the dream job. :j I'm still searching for mine. :rotfl:
Pointy Your friends are the weirdos, numpty is a great word. I find it a more pleasant word than the alternatives. But then again I did spend 6 years in Glasgow, so its just part of the vocab now.
Looking like a NSD from my end, but only have way through the day . . .

Hello everyone!
I'm a little late this week as I've been really busy - sorry! Anyway, I managed to come in well below target last week with a green spend of £53.58 out of my pledged £95 - as I didn't get round to buying the bits n bobs that I was going to.
This week, I'm too busy to spend, so I'll pledge just £25 for food ... hopefully, I'll find the time to at least eat!Thank you Pointy!

I do love the word numpty but didn't think it was a weegie word as I live here but am English for my sins and it is the weegies that make fun.
Hello to chris it sounds like you have a very busy week, for a change mine is rather empty.
Spends for me today were £4 on cigarettes (don't shout at me I have had a stressful day at work)

£5.45 spends for me today, a five year old library fine (sigh) and an easter egg for my niece, the least expensive one I can find and still get my extra clubcard points :P

OK, I wasn't organised for going back to work today so £2.95 for lunch, and I then went to pick up some dry cleaning which was about £14 (will need to check my receipts), which means I'm pretty close to my total already. Going to be strong, but making green this week might be hard . . .
As for the cigarettes pointy, I'm in the same boat - also having a rubbish time at work and so keep having the odd one. Just thrown away what I had in the house, so will make a good effort to stop this week.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

English for your sins, nah be proud. I think numpty is a Scottish word but that could just be what they told me! :rotfl:
I love Glasgow, up there at the weekend to catch up with friends and can't wait. Its hump day too, so not long till the weekend. :j*Official DFW Nerd #1368 - Proud to be dealing with my debts*
