Declaring today as NSD no 7...out in the garden most of today!!! :j

Managed to get DS into next door's garden to attack their mass of brambles (he gets £5 and hour when he works there). He may be a strapping big rugby player...but he is such a wimp about getting scratched!!! Still, he managed to get a large patch cleared...though extricating brambles from in and around a wisteria was a challenge!! :D If he is to carry on clearing the brambles I will have to get proper thornproof gloves...off to a gardencentre and B&Q on Friday, so will get some then.

I have done more work on my conservatory roof...2/3 the way there now. :j

I can't beleie how dry all my pots are...we had a little rain last night, the first for weeks!!! So I spent a fair old time watering everything I have in pots, that took a fair old time. My waterbutts are starting to run low now too...oh for a bit of rain...at night of course!! Apologies to those of you who have had loads of rain...and even snow. :o

I plan on getting out into the garden again tomorrow....though DS has a doctors' appointment @ 9.30, and may well be off back to college afterwards, but I will get there eventually. Hopefully I will get the conservatory roof finished as well as a few more pots washed.

    Have a good evening all.

Number 8 for me today!!! This is an unheard of start to the month for me. All work and no play certainly makes Kate a very dull (but very frugal!) girl!!:rotfl:xx
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....
