refund for ruined wool dress from topshop?

hi, i bought a leopard print wool dress from topshop for christmas, ive only got round to wearing it recently and ive washed it according to the care label instructions and its gone all discoloured and it looks awful! Is there anyway this can be returned as its been nearly 3 months but surely its faulty?! does anyone know? thanks in advance

If I were you I'd contact their customer services, explain what happened and see if they will do anything- mention just what you have said here.

You should be able to return it in line with your statutory rights, but perhaps to emphasise the fact that you've only washed it once and according to the instructions on the label. I've had to return a dress for a similar reason;it was dry clean only, and having worn it once i took it to be dry cleaned and it shrunk. I was able to return it without a problem.
