Parcel forwarding from the USA to the UK

Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with parcel forwarding services when buying items from USA websites that don't accept international orders. The idea is to use a parcel forwarding service, they give you a USA address at their warehouse and the order from the website gets sent to them, they then send it on to you.
It is a bit complex, and I've been researching this for a while with no avail, and just wondered which services if any do people have good experiences with?? There is one called MyUs but ive heard mixed reviews about it. Another option is bogous.com but again mixed reviews. Parcel2go.com seem to do a deal as well.
On another note..
I ordered from an american drugstore website (chemist) some makeup items which are a lot cheaper and many are unavailable in the UK and they offer international shipping.. I paid £12 for the shipping then £10 customs and duty. It said on the checkout page that it is guaranteed that I wont have to pay any extra charges when I receive the package. Let's hope so! It is being sent by DHL Express and I have tracked it online and it is in my local area now so I hope to be receiving it tommorrow!
If it works out well, I may consider buying more items from the US, but many sites don't do international shipping so that is why I thinking about a parcel forwarding service. The cheaper delivery, the better but I also want great service too!!
I would be very grateful to hear your experiences!!
Many Thanks
