If you go to www.nectar.co.uk you can enter your nectar card details and it will show a balance and how many you have spent.
Not sure whats happened but you might find out where the missing points are.

I had the same experiencer today. I tried to reddem points at my local Sainsbury's but my card registered zero points. I have just looked online and my balance is over 3400 points credit! Looking further on the nectar website -- it may be because I had not used my card for over 3 months and that if I try again in 48 hours, the balance will show ---- I will try again.0 -

Is this right? How old do they get before they start wiping them then?!irishwench69 wrote:........thought nectar had started wiping unused points of a certain age..... :eek:0 -
HELP!! A while ago I noticed that my Internet balance was way less than it should be and emailed Nectar but never received a reply. Just before Xmas I thought about it again and searched the FAQs section and was HORRIFIED to find out that, if you don't use your card for 12 mths, they wipe the balance!! I daren't tell my husband as we were saving up for flights. I had about 90,000-odd points and was afraid of losing the card, so we set one up in my husband's name (a new account) and I have been using that since.
Has anybody had any luck getting lost points back? (My husband has been made redundant and so is around all the time so I have not had a chance to phone Nectar without him knowing!!)
I have never noticed this being warned on any paperwork from Nectar, or on the website unless you dig deep (I didn't find it the first time I checked) and, as there are other folk on this thread questionning lost points, they are obviously not making it clear to us. Is this legal?

there is a real !!!! up if u ask me they have messed up the system we were used to and now if u dont swipe in three months your card reverts to the original store you registered at. this is not practical and i suggest we revolt
i wanted to use my points at xmas and was thwarted by this new system. Does anyone remember being told of this change apparently we were told in a mailing but i see all my nectar letters and read them and i dont remember this being laid out. If u wnat to change to a new store and redeem points there you must swipe card at that store and wait 48 hours.:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0
