Blimey I cant belive how many people are up so early!
    ---
Does anybody drink coffee at mcdoomdles? i need some loyalty cards, blank ones... in other words not the "valuable" plastic sticker, just the cardboard backing that 5 times out of 6 you would just chuck away.
pm me if you have any... might be able to do you a swap... maybe swap 6 empty cards for 1 completed card?
    ---
    Aesop - re princes spreads...
    thanks for the info
do you know if they have to be special packs, or are the codes on all of the lids?
    anyway!...they are on 3 for £1 in te$co (until 22/3) and are 63-66p each in a$da
so i'll probably get 42 jars in a$da for £27.30 (mixed across their 5 flavours)
and then get a price match voucher for the difference to te$co+10% which would be a refund of £14.70 - and giving 7 entries in the prize draw too :-)

THIS was posted on another thread, I feel for the kids for witnessing that
Sorry but something doesnt sound quite right with that story!
Call me sceptical but if i was opening a new shop, then i might organise something like this as a publicity stunt.
A new shop. Many thousand of pounds worth of newspaper space in return for £400 of damages (which would probably be insured anyway) - and all caused because her cupcakes are so fantastic.
    mmm?

Aesop - thanks - i will get over to the printable coupons place eventually. Creative shopping is my favourite hobby! Do you remember te$co's old refund and returns policy? :-)

anyone driving a car or van, who collects airmiles?
  • Have you won anything by comping anyone?

Just had nice surprise through the letter box. Insurance for car has gone up a tenner a month.. where will these increases stop.

My mood has turned sour, I need somethinng sweet but cannat be arrised to make those bliddy biscuits.

Going to flick through my latest copy of Good Food magazine, (I call it my [STRIKE]treat[/STRIKE] education on how to be a better homemaker and cook :p )

There's a little book on baking this month. If I make a cake i'll eat 3/4 of it. You know what, just bliddy make a cake and cheer your self up! I will (am I talking to myself?) I'll do it meself though because kids cooking adds stress. Now the fun is in what to bake.

As DH would say, you wanna get a job, too much times on your hands. (yes I'mtalking to myself)

    Cracking up?

I've won loads Miche, just not the car, holiday or hard cash. Well I did win £70 on the walker comp last year, but a comping buddy has won £10,000 twice.

I belong to a comping group and they regularly post their wins, dvds, books, holidays, cash, wii prizes.

I have won a wii game through the pringles comp.

((((((( ))))))) to you. Do you want to get a job?

can you shop around and get a better quote? or tell them that you have been offered better elsewhere and can they price match. But I would find another company just in case.

Aesop, re comping: last year i came 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th 7th and 8th in a competition where the 1st prize was 700 bars of green & blacks chocolate.

All i won for my efforts was 7 copies of a poster and at the time i was disappointed, but looking back at it now, i only feel massive relief that i didnt win.
Being a compulsive overeater, if I had managed to get the 1st prize it would have been like giving brewery keys to an alcoholic! ... I'd almost surely be either dead or sectioned by now!
All in all, a lucky escape I think!

Yeah I'm going to look on the comparison sites tonight. With the bankruptcy it's not too cut and dried because I need to pay in monthly instalments, they're effectively giving me credit over the year (give me my cover hat I haven't yet paid for) or there's a certain trust for me to pay, my record shows I just might not :o

The AA allowed instalments so no doubt other companies will. I heard Martin Lewis say on Radio 2 today that prices have gone up on average 40%, mine has about 20% so really might be a case of just staying with them. I'll deffo compar later though, pus there's cashback to think about too :)
