    Hi Susan

Thanks for you help tonight...I`m getting there I think. I have input 5 recent Tesco receipts & await the outcome.

My understanding is that you can check before you buy (ie with the database & Asda site) or (like me) you can just check your regular shopping.

Does there need to be a nearby Asda?? I don`t know of one near me.

no, there doesn't. Tesco are just price matching to Asda in general. So assume it would be Asda's prices in general.

Thanks Aesop...think I will get the hang of it.

There is a B&M Bargains and also a Home Bargains near me so I am quite spoilt on prices;)....Tesco is sooo expensive in comparison & I`m shocked by some of the prices I have seen on that database tonight!

Thanks again...a real eye-opener! goodnight all

Angel, the problem of putting in your normal receipt is you probably buy the bargains, bogof, multi offers, etc which will be cheaper, plus the calculation is done on the whole shop, so items cheaper in T offset items cheaper in A - so we do DTD shops separately ;);)

Hiya Puds - yes, it's another lovely day here too :j there is cloud about but the sun keeps on getting through it - just going to pop some washing on the line then get changed as I have to pick my great-neices up from a playgroup at their school - I have them from 1 pm for a couple of hours - should be fun :j :j by the way, I have never minded them before on my own

Just spoke to Mr 3Dogs on the phone - he has been helping his mate with some welding on a trailer and they were talking about the van and when he said the power steering is off, he said to check his vehicles lying around his yard to see if anything would fit temporarily, and the second one they tried, a Vito, had the identical pwer steering pump, down to the same serial number, so he put it on ours and .... job done - we've got the power steering back :j :j

    Ok - have a good day everyone - I'm off to get changed x x x

Woohoo to having power steering back.
Lovely sunny day here again, I must remember to water plant's tonight, my apple tree's are getting powdery mildew 'cause it's been that dry, still we had a quick shower of rain last night and it's pecked 'em up a fair bit.

welcome to the dtd gang steve!

dont forget to pick up any dropped receipts in the carpark if you see them - the high value ones can be quite profitable - theres no rule to say you cant claim other peoples discounts if they dont want to claim it themself!
