I'm wondering if I should start doing walking SSA, I have met a few mums recently who are really into walking and have asked me to come along. It would help me to lose weight. Would make me feel better.

It may feel strange, but enjoy the feeling.
And don't fall in the canal trying to see what the greeb's are doing:D:eek::rotfl:and you might see one of the water vole's.[/QUOTE

I saw a water vole the other week!! I thought it was a little rat but realised it was a vole....so graceful swimming across the canal. Have you walked along the towpath ?...its a lovely little walk.

I took one of my dogs recently & she fell in trying to avoid a jack russell that was running towards us:eek::eek::eek:
I love that walk, soooo peacefull, apart from the time I saw the watervole, was a lot of people there to take photo's. I also like the walk at middletern top, and the fact board's telling the history of the railway.

Good luck with the shopping-savings Hun.

I wish I could be more moneysaving but I am so busy these days with work.

My issue now is that I need to get some proper savings behind me. Hmmm shouldn`t really be on the DFW board then should I?...just feel safer here:o

The DTD is hard, and it is getting worse because t and A are competing against each other even more now and price matching constantly. Plus prices online do not reflect in store prices, etc!

You need to be a mathematician to work it all out! I have some money off vouchers they sent me, Sainsbury's moc, they accept conditional spends, and £10 gift card I received for a complaint, so hoping to get enough to last until end of month with it.

I have no savings and at the moment does not seem likely for me. But I have started doing surveys again and am so close to cashout on 3 companies! If I can get these to pay in Tesco vouchers that will help!

I wish I could afford to save the money I save using money off coupons, etc, in a separate account. It would be worth quite a bit by the end of the year. But every penny saved through moc, and vouchers, etc is spent on bills.

Walking is the best exercise for body & especially mind...go for it & start slowly. You will really enjoy the countryside or parks.

I aim to do 6 miles a week & feel so much healthier & have more energy. I can eat what I like now as the walking has pushed up my metabolism.

Some phone have apps that tell you how far you`ve walked...my walking pace is 2.2 miles per hour so thats how I estimate how far I`ve done. Did 250 miles last year & really felt like I achieved something.

    Not sure what that is?

Aesop - sounds like you are working hard on the coupons & savings & you have my utmost respect for it. Takes so much time & working out...well done & keep plugging away.
