What a long day  we set up outside as planned and the weather was glorious - took my thick coat off after an hour, then sweatshirt about 10.30 am - even too warm in t-shirt :j :j It was good to set up outside, much easier but still not too many people about - I only took £12 for doggies and gave Mr 3Dogs £2 towards the pitch leaving £10 to add to money raised so far :j :j Most of Mr 3Dogs's normal record customers were not about - just had one for £15 and a couple of other customers, plus a lady brought £10 from last week, so, after paying the £4 balance on the pitch fee, he only came out with about £26 - so he had loaded up the van with records and his tables and is going to try another car boot down near Cambridge tomorrow to see how he does there;)
We have had our din-dins of Grilled Pollock (fish), with s/w0rld 'chips' and mixed veg, followed by 2 mini milk ice lollies (only 30 cals/1.5 syms each) :j:j:j:j
Mr 3dogs has the middle dog Bess in the bedroom trying to cut her fur   as it has got really long and thick over the winter - I normally do it but I can't manage it now as using scissors hurts my handsso I am waiting to see how she turns out - I checked if he needed any help before, shouting through the door, and all he said was 'yes, have you got some tranquillisers for her' and that her fur is all over the place in there   :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well done on your efforts for the carboot. If Alan does a good job on Bess then maybe we can persuade him to cut Steve's hair!!!! He was trying to persuade me last night that it is good to go out with a man without hair as they are very MSE to maintain!
My sister has popped round and the girlies. I am really struggling to stay awake!!! I dont want to look rude. I am not used to having so many visitors so i keep running up here.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Firewalker just posted this: could you answer these questions?
If I am staring Death in the face:
· What would be the thing(s) I will regret not having done?
· Who would I have spent my time with?
· What are the conversations I should have had?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

If I am staring Death in the face:

Nothing

Who I have spent my time with

None
I am a firm believer of 'it is what it is' - things happen, good things and bad, we have happy times and sad, but it is no use looking back and wondering 'what if .... ?' Things happen for a reason, life goes on, and we adapt, but we can't change the past, so I don't dwell on it
Just back from my friends, got changed into pj's and dressing gown, and had my cereal supper - Mr 3Dogs is already in bed, had a read of his book, and is now trying to sleep as he will have to be up at 5 am tomorrow to do the other car bootMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
