I was watching a summary of the Oscars. We Brits did pretty well. Hooray.

Beanie, I get upset with those types of programmes and wonder if things will change? I was upset when i stayed in hospital. The staff were ok to me as i was young but quite dismissive of the older ladies. I was really upset one day when a lady asked to be taken to the toilet 7 times and they ignored her. I started to walk her (blind in one eye and stoned on medication) and got told off! Do you know what the patients said - i was the right side of 50 and that is what it seemed to come down too. There is something so wrong about patients becoming more ill or neglected in hospital and care homes. I wonder what it will take before something is finally done?

Ps i have marked 12/23, I can't believe it! but if i work hard this week i can enjoy the weekend.
