Cani put frozen bacon in my soup?

I have just made a soup with lentils carrots and other veg and have just found a pack of frozen bacon pieces (the sort that are cooked in a pack from tesco, i got them reduced and froze them) in the freezer. I am ok to put them into my soup frozen, or should I not bother. I don't have a microwave to defrost...

Thanks

Put the unopened packet in a sink/container of hot water. It will be defrosted in 10 mins then you can give it a quick fry and add to your soup.

as they are cooked already then definately, just chuck them in and bring to the boil again for 5/10 mins :)
