Default on egg loan

Hi I am wondering if anyone has any experience of whether or not Egg would remove a default notice if the remaining amount of money owed was paid in full? I currently have about £6000 outstanding with them and wondering if this amount was paid off in full would the default be removed?

No, sorry, even when settled defaults stay on your credit file for 6 years.
Under extreme circumstances, if there has been a major mistake made by the DC or the original lender would it be considered..
You just have to ride it out I''m afraid.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Hi ste_coxy,
I totally agree with mcneff, although a settled default is better than an unsettled default. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
