Can Sainsbury's money off coupon be used elsewhere?

me4bargains

Hi,
I have been sent some £4 off £20 shop in sainsbury's coupons.
Will I be able to use them in Tescos?

Thanks

yes, a lot of tesco's stores will take them, they often have banners/posters outside the store advertising this. although obviously check at the customer service desk at your particular store first when you go

youngie

asda also take them

Yes, all Tesco stores should take these. And BTW, you don't have to spend the minimum amount or even use the right week's coupon (last week's, next weeks, whatever), it will still scan at the till. Only problem would be if the cashier noticed but no big deal, they may cancel it off or they may not!

BTW, can I just advise coupon-newbies not to think that you have to sneak around trying to use coupons on self-service tills? These are actually MUCH more strictly policed, just go to a young lad on a till and ask if he can scan your coupons please?

Works every time, Tesco policy allows for one coupon (or more, depends on the shop) per transaction, when you haven't bought the item.
