I buy pack of Tesco Value apples every week and there are 5 in there, one a day for work. Now bought a pack this morning and there were only 4 in a pack (I did try looking for a 5), they are bigger than usual, but that is not the point.

Does the bag say "5 apples" or "apples" and a weight?0

It says 4 apples on the pack and there were 4 apples in the pack? Hahahahahahah.! Just buy five loose ones then.!!! or that 4 pack and an extra one......and here's me worrying how i'm going to afford my house on my own, when there are a lot worse problems going on.0

they may have gone from 5 to 4 apples to stop the price going up.
The apples may be different in weight. eg gone from winter to spring seasons so may be slightly heavier. So price per kg may be the same.
of course it could be a way to make more money.0 -
