Transfering exsisting private pension fund
semi

Hi,I thinking of transfering an exsisting private pension fund into my current group private pension.
Currently I have a fund of approx £42K with Sun life of canada (no longer contribute)with annual charges of 6% on capital units,1% accumulation units ,a plan fee of £2.20 & 5% on the bid/offer spread, against a basic level fund managemaent charge of 1% with my current provider Standard life(other fund charges are applied for my investment choices).Just wondering if it's worth transfering the fund to Standard life or another provider completely? I currently pay £122 per month & employer pays £185 into stardard life,I would also be deducted £1518 for the existing funds for the transfer advice-payable to my advisor, any thoughts-cheers???

Capital units usually carried higher charges as they were used to pay for the cost of setting up.Just wondering if it's worth transfering the fund to Standard life or another provider completely?
I have yet to find a SLFoC pension that hasnt been worth transferring but it doesnt mean they dont exist. A transfer analysis would confirm it. However, your standard life contract doesnt sound that good. Not bad but with your transfer value, an IFA will easily be able to come in wtih cheaper options on the transfer side.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
