Bridging Loan

What is the best way to finace buying a new home before selling my own.
I will have about a two month period between completing on my new home and handing the keys over on my current home.
My understanding is that bridging loans are charged about 2% above base rate and have an arrangement fee of 0.5-1%.
Is this about right, and are there any other ways to finance this situation.
Replies appreciated, Bhushan
