Payment booklet

I agreed to pay a re-mortgage loan back by payment booklet but now that I have the opportunity to point out the payment discrepancies on a financial statement submitted to the courts 5 years ago via the Ombudsman with payments missing that I KNOW I paid but I dont have the payment booklet anymore. How can I track down payments Ive made? Is it at all possible or am I on a loser on this one? The mortgage company is lying so there is no point in asking them.

Mortgage companies don't normally lie, they may make mistakes such as the payment beiing applied to another mortgage.
How did you make the payments, cash or cheque? if cheque you can trace, cash, you probably may as well give up now if you are talking about something 5 years ago?I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Ok thanks for your advice. As for the lying aspect of mortgage lenders Kensington Mortgages are well known liars as the FSA will testify.

I would not like to stand up in court with that as the only evidence. If you cannot prove the payments were made then you cannot win unfortunately.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
