Thanks for all your replies. I think it might be more work than is needed just to be selected. If they ask you of this to get the job, it makes me wonder how many 'words' the report would need to be written in. Thanks again everyone

Hi just wondered if it comes up on the receipt if you order a plain burger for the burger company for gyp? i really dont like mayo lol

Yes it does. Order the burger, pay, get the receipt, then say "Oh, can I have that with no mayo?"

Or what i should have said was, Yes, it does say plain burger, so sorry but you'll have to scrape the mayo off if you dont like it as they want to assess the timings for a "regular" order not a special one.

And if you give a bad report and they look back on the CCTV and see you and realise you asked for it plain they won't pay you. So not worth the risk really.

It might not come up on the receipt, but how would you explain the timings? The standard ones are usually already made so just have to be put on your tray. If you make changes they will have to make it from scratch. If your timings are always much longer than the norm then I don't think it'd be long before you are kicked off the project. The timings seem to be a key part of the program.

They do tell you to have exactly what is required, eg not without lettuce etc as it takes longer to fiddle about with it. I would assume mayo is the same.

I had an 'interesting' conversation with an A*** employee earlier.

Her: I was wondering if you could help us out, we have two 'hardware' stores that need visiting in the nxt couple of days, could you help us out please?

Me: Are these the ones that the fee has been reduced?

Her: Erm, yes a little

Me: by 20%! When petrol prices have gone up enormously, i'm sorry if I took these assignments I would be out of pocket (its a 45 mile round trip!!)

Her: I'm sorry they are not that urgent that I can offer you any more.

Me: Sorry I cannot be of help then.


Now, one of these stores is completly of the beaten track and they always have problems covering it.
Whats the betting they ring back next week?
