Thank you. Do you have to search for assignments separately with each client, or is there a hidden short cut?!

Anyone care to answer the infamous Abai query?

Read through the first couple of pages on this thread and you will find a detailed answer on how to get more clients.

Sorry I didn't explain that very well!
I've read that and added a few more clients, although not 11, I couldn't only find 6.

I was just checking about finding assignments, it seems like the only way is to check each client one at a time. :o

Hiya guys. I need your help again! i have to check trailers for 2D and 3D films. Is it better to do the 2D on one day, and the 3D on another?

Can anyone also confirm that i have understood the reels correctly please. My film is 136min (2 hours 16 mins)

    2D
    Reel A Reel B

    11:00 11:30
    14:30 15:00
    18:00 18:30
    21:30 22:00

    3D

    Reel A Reel B Reel C

    10:30 11:15 13:00
    13:30 14:00 14:25
    16:00 16:45 17:30
    19:30 20:00 20:40 21:00

Dont know why the 9pm showing is on its own? And is it usual for 2D and 3D films to have a different number of reels?

    Please help me.......................:o

Sorry to bump my own question, but does anyone have any advice. I'm due to start them today? TIA

Sadly not, you have to do each one separately.

I haven't seen the email yet, but from the gist I get from here is that someone (an MS'er) has told the client that they are bring MS'd - is that correct? TNS have then "pulled the plug" on any more visits?

I don't think TNS has pulled the plug. I think the client has withdrawn the contract because of a serious breach of terms and conditions.

For those of you who havent seen the email, I have pasted it below. From what I understood of it, a shopper has discussed the assignment in detail with a member of the client's staff.

I would imagine that there are some peeps at TNS that are really not happy at the moment. I saw the jobs in question and the fee was good.

Following a recent incident, this email is to remind our shoppers of their obligation to keep details of our research confidential.

We have been informed by one of our major financial clients that their employees have been made aware through one of our shoppers of our research programme with them. It is extremely disappointing to hear this and as a result we will no longer be carrying out research for this client. Not only is this very embarrassing, this has made a considerable impact on our revenue and future business in an already unfavourable economic climate. The actions of 1 person has effectively resulted in many shoppers not being able to benefit from this project and earn what was a substantial fee.

Below is the Confidentiality section from your terms and conditions as one of our shoppers:

5.1 In accordance with the 1999 MRS Code of Conduct, all records, reports and other documents relating to TNS Mystery Shopping business are strictly private and confidential. You agree not to disclose via any media, at any time, to any unauthorised person, any confidential information concerning the interests or business of TNS Mystery Shopping, or any of our associated companies, or any of their clients or suppliers. This includes information about business plans, business information, technical information, current future and potential business opportunities strategies, commercial relations, research and development products, product formulae, processes, inventions, designs, discoveries or know-how and all intellectual property, sales statistics, marketing surveys and plans, data, results, software, member data, costs, profit or loss, prices and discount structures, details about clients, potential clients, suppliers, potential suppliers, or staff within the organisation.

5.2 You agree that you shall use the confidential information only for the purpose of conducting the Assignment and treat all confidential information as secret and confidential and shall not copy or disclose any such confidential information to anyone outside TNS Mystery Shopping and associated companies.

5.3 You also agree to keep such confidential information secure from theft and misuse by unauthorised persons and comply with any request to destroy or return any of the confidential information.

We would like to thank those of you that have upheld our confidentiality standards and hope you continue to do so. If you would like to read more information around this, please visit the Reference Guide section of the Visit Allocation Site where you will find your terms and conditions of engagement and sections from the MRS Code of Conduct that are relevant to mystery shopping.

That little extra 9pm showing has thrown me as that would suggest that there are actually 4 3D reels. 20 minutes later seems a little too long for it to be a joint showing across 2 screens.

My suggestions would either be to ring the company, they're honestly very helpful and they're in the office from 11 today I believe. Or once you get to the cinema you can ask the manager how many reels they have, and they should be able to tell you which one is being shown where.
  • I never saw those ones on TNS but I can't believe someone would be so silly as to discuss it unless they got something out of it?
