Yes. You have to be invited to be an auditor (usually when you have been working for them for some time and have proved your worth). They also only usually ask for new auditors when they need them in specific areas. Once you are an auditor, you can no longer carry out petrol mystery shops.

Anyone know what you should do if you do a mystery shop and you're served by someone you know? I was MSing a self-serve cafe, I already had a drink on my tray when someone I worked with about 8 years ago popped up and said hi, he obviously recognised me though got my name wrong. Is there an established procedure for this? I didn't feel like I should bail when I'd already started making my choices, so I just carried on.0

This is a touchy subject techinically you shouldn't have carried on. however if you feel you can write the report without being biase then I would do so. If you do inform the company you probably will be disqualified from all those jobs.
8 years is a long time -- Generally they ask for 5 years.0 -

A year or so ago when I was paid by Bare there was no comission with the Alliance and leicester, but not sure now as they are Santander. The bank should really have a notice on to tell you, as it's very sneaky of them.0 -

I've recently been switching my bank account and when opening the new one I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have this when getting paid by BARE (if they ever let me have any jobs to get paid). The only main bank which I found would not take any charges/commissions if I opened a free account with them and received payment in Euros was Barclay's. I don't know whether that's just with new accounts or whether it applies to accounts that previously charged but just worth noting if the OP is being changed.0 -

Maritz are a PAYE company. They will take tax from you but you can either wait and claim it back at the end of the tax year on your self assessment form, or get your tax code altered so a portion of your personal allowance is given to Maritz on a new tax code.
You shouldn't have paid NI though, unless you've done shed loads and earned over about £100 a week from them. That's from fee's only and not reimbursements.Here I go again on my own....0 -

A&L charge £10 in fees per transaction!! Halifax I think are £2/3 if under £100. Guess which two companies I have accounts with :mad: I've opted for paypal.0 -
:eek: £10 per transaction. That's ridiculous. I'm with Barclays for my main account luckily as it is free, but £10 is just mad - I've had months where I've done a couple of phone calls for Helion for example, and the payment I've received from them would be almost all gone after that fee.
Bloody banks!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Euro payments are free with nationwide (if they actually let anyone open an account with them anymore
)
