Does anyone have any idea why I can see the
jobs on RA, but when I select them nothing comes up?
I have the same problem. When I click on the area, it then goes back onto the same page but at the bottom it says "you are not eligible for the job you have selected".
Defintely not missing much though!0 -

And make ESA look generous too!! I had to look twice at the fee they are offering for the cheap shops! Is it really that measly or am I missing something?0 -
I need some help with a RE sarnie shop which I'm due to do tomorrow. I've rung the office today on the Saturday number but as usual it's just the answerphone & no-one has bothered to get back to me.
I need to know what I have to look for - all mine show as either blank or N/A which I'm sure can't be right as there are the normal questions to answer in the questionnaire. I need to know the weekend lunch range.0 -
Hello everyone. I have just registered with Retaileyes and have got my first job on Wednesday. Bit nervous hope I dont make a boob.
From watching people's posts on the forum it sounds like you get quite a bit of work. I notice that you all seem to be registered with a few agencies. I was thinking of just sticking with Retail eyes until I feel a bit more confident.0 -
Retail Eyes is a good one to start with as they have lots of jobs available, and good for starters.
But there's no harm in signing up to as many as you can just so you have more jobs to pick from, or at least just have a look at to see what's available and what sort of jobs different companies do until you are confident enough to actually do them!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I know that it is not a full time job and I suppose it depends on how much free time you have and hard you are prepared to look but whats the average amount of jobs people manage to get. From reading the forum some people seem to do four or five jobs a day.
I know I have got a long way to go. It will probably take me all day on Wednesday to submit my first report.0 -
There are so many variables! Like you say it depends on how much time you're willing to give and how hard you work. Also depends on whether the jobs are there! If you live in a big city you might get a few jobs in the same area, if not you might have to travel around and cover lots of mileage. Generally we're signed up to lots of companies as this is the only way to get lots of jobs. Each company has it's own clients, so you're unlikely to find 4-5 jobs with one company in the same area on the same day.
And yes...the first report will take ages haha. They still take me ages 18 months down the line.

Just adding on to what Lil_me has said, you also need to take into account "Shopper Rotation". Once you have shopped somewhere, you may be unable to mystery shop it again until 4 to 6 months has passed. For some shops, you also need to fit a "certain profile" before you are offered or able to accept a job.0

For me, on a good week its around 15 jobs, but I'm very picky. I don't do reimbursement only jobs, I don't work for RE or GAP or any low fee paying companies. On a bad week I have 2 jobs. Its all swings and roundabouts. Depends on what you're prepared to do and how far you want to travel. I stick to a 10 mile radius of my home so in MSing terms I don't go very far at all!0
