can someone help me please?

I have decided to make some cranberry and chocolate cookies but reading the recipe it asks for muscavado sugar. I don't have any of that but I do have light brown sugar and demarara. would either of these be ok to use?

You advice is greatly appreciated x

Thats what I would use. Should be fine. Not the demerera sugar.

The light brown will be most similar and will give a chewy cookie :) Demerara will work too, and give a nice crunchiness :D

I would say either! but not seeing the rest of the recipe - if you are creaming the sugar with butter I would use the light brown as it will cream better than Demerara.
