  • My parents will let me off for a while, but they're not exactly flush and need the money themselves..
They both have loads of health worries and other stresses, and my mum suffers from depression, so I don't want to add to their problems if I can avoid it..

    I understand that:)
If you use your rent money to help clear wonga etc then it will be a big help.
You can always pay them back as soon as you are back on track.

  • Thats fair enough. But you can make it up to them I am sure... in the meantime getting rid of Wonga /Quick quid loans is priority. Maybe I have got this wrong so wait for someone to confirm, but can you cancel direct debit for other payments, buying some time to reinstate? Or...can you see about overdraft?
    :rotfl:
  • That's what I plan on doing, but atm I have about £40 in the bank, and am expecting around 180 next Friday, but no other income before repayments are due on 4th March.
I'm gonna forget about usual payments for now and concentrate on clearing the payday loans, then get back on track with the rest, but I don't know where I can fill in the shortfall from.

EDIT: I am at the end of a £1750 overdraft, which they won't extend (surprisingly!).
