Beware Cahoot Loan Closures

I had a loan with cahoot of approx £6000...i paid it up early,by asking for settlement figure online, which it gave me of £5272.18..and i proceeded to fulfill the loan there and then..this was sept 1st.
i got my bank statement confirming it had gone to them..all ok
Then in Oct i got a letter informing me of a missed payment! I HAVE NEVER DEFAULTED ON ANY PAYMENT EVER!!!..so i was mad..i called Cahoot they said no money had been received, off she went to check, then said its ok as it was in thier holding bank, all paid up i presumed, this was also confirmed.I mentioned that i DID NOT want any record of a missed payment going on my perfect credit score:A and i was assured it wouldnt...ill believe anything..in Nov whilst checking with Experian,i see a missed payment flag,so phoned Cahoot again and they said that the loan didnt get closed until Nov.just 1 day shy of another "missed payment".went ballistic at the poor sod i spoke to,and they and experian are now clearing it.

Lesson to learn always use experian and never believe a bank..:T
