Your food bill is high. You could cut that down by menu planning, batch cooking & dropping a brand in the supermarket.
Try ringing Sky & the mobile companies & tell them you are struggling. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Good luck:)Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Hi all
Many thanks again. The food shop also includes toiletries (teenage girl alert lol) and baby formula and nappies.
The electric is just how it was when we moved in together, My sis in law works for my electricity supplier ad said it'd cost 35 to change the meter. I am definately going to look in to this as surely electric on DD wouldn't be as much as we pay now?!!
I decided to get a free trial for my credit report and cancel before the 30 days is up and I'm confused, it says my loans are settled!! I have no idea how this happened, maybe a result of Abacus chasing up the loan insurance thing. Should I ask Lloyds about this or leave it be?
I have written to Abacus to give them my 4 weeks notice and I have written to Lloyds to offer them a plan for repaying the credit card and overdraft (since the loans are gone?!) I suppose if for some mad reason they reject my offer I will go to CCCS to get their help.
I think I am going to ask littlewoods about reduced payments - is this a good idea? It's mostly littlewoods that has me stumped.0
