my ds has a lactose intolerance, IBS and reflux. i'm running out of ideas for meals - any suggestions? need to avoid lactose, soya milk (soya cheese and yoghurts are fine just not the milk), tomato based foods, citrus fruits. also reduce foods with insoluble fibre ie wholemeal bread, brown rice etc. fatty food isnt allowed either. he also needs to gain weight. plus its his birthday coming up and want to make him a cake so any good recipes that fits in with all that would be great?
TIA

Maybe make a lisy of what he CAN eat

white bread
white pasta
white rice
potatoes
white pastry
spinach
root veg
salad
soya yog
soya cheese
beans
split peas
lentils
chick peas
How about a spinach and pine nut filo pie with lots of cheese
Can you make a fatless sponge for his birthday - I have a fab recipe :T You can make it with chocolate, too.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
