If you like Baileys - you might like this

Tesco are currently offering a Baileys substitute called Irish Meadow @ £3.99 per 70 cl bottle (£5.70 / litre). This compares with Original balieys @ £19.99 per litre bottle.

It's a tad thinner and a little sweeter than genuine Balileys but if you like cream in a mocha esspresso its a little luxury on the cheap. Very acceptable to drink on its own too.

It is nice but nothing like Baileys. Baileys is made with whisky, this is made with wine.

Wine and Irish whiskey, according to the label. Quite right though, it isn't Baileys.

I'm sure there was a post just before Xmas (which reflected one from Xmas 2009) regards the Cream Liqueurs to buy if it was something other than Baileys.

LIDL's version, which has won awards within the industry itself, was a very popular customer choice as well and is comparably priced to Tesco's own etc.

The only thing about all these sort of drinks is that they taste so nice, more like a dessert than a drink, that I can't stop once I start!
