Reclaiming care home fees in NI - please help!!

Correct otherwise everyone would do it. It will be classed as Deprivation of Assets and the home would put a charge against whatever was given away. Any movement of assets would have to take place when the person was in good health and at least 10 yeas before needing care home help IMHO.so anyone who has this scenario on the horizon - what advice would you offer? I take it they just can`t give the house to a relative?0
