Hi Woody,
Have you considered trying out Blockbuster's one month free trial of their home delivery rental service?
Go to https://www.blockbuster.co.uk and click on the one month free trial service. You fill in your details (including payment option, although no payment will be taken - it's just for future if you continue with the service) and then compile a list of all of the DVDs you'd like to see.
Activate your list, and they'll then send them to you three at a time by first class post. You send each one back when watched and they'll replace it for you with another from your list.
It's normally £13.99 per month, just remember to cancel online before the trial finishes.
My free trial just expired, and I couldn't fault them
Just an idea?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Hi mrcow Thanks for your reply will give them a try in the near future0

I am currently entering week two of the Blockbuster free trial - initially I put in a list of 15 or so recent films and they told me they were 'not available' only when I packed my list (40+ titles) have they started coming in.
so far I've only had footie DVD's and 4 titles that are 3 + years old.
maybe they only send older titles to first month people ??
anyone else had a similar experience ??0 -
Check here

all the free rentals you can imagine at least a years worth. Best ones are lovefilm, screenselect (but a bit of a wierd way of prioritising your list) and Blockbuster.0 -
I have done the screen select free month trial, watched 3 dvds one weekend, then sent them back then cancelled subscription - couldnt have been easier, now doing Blockbuster free trial the same way, so far I have been sent all new releases.0

I can't seem to get this to work. It still only says 5 free rentals. Does it change to 3 months as you go through the sign in process?0

Im not sure - maybe the coupon is for one use only - but it says on the coupon to go to the website and you can get as many vouchers as you want.0
