Loan advice
Hi all ........Having applied for a loan with my building society via internet banking . It took a week for them to make a decision but in the end the loan was accepted in principle and later that day I was recieved a phone from the building society asking me if I would like to borrow more than i had ask , which I didn't require therefore the girl said my paperwork would be sent out first class mail . On thursday this week I recieved another call from the same girl telling me my loan was declined no reason all she would say was that she could appeal and would get back to me that day and guess what I'm still waiting despite repeated phone call . Does anybody know as to why this has happened as it's a complete mystery to me and what action can I take.....

I'd ask to speak the supervisor, or better still write a letter of complaint and see where that gets you. What's your credit history like
, seems odd that they do not want to lend you the money because you did not wish to borrow more, but stranger things have happended in financial world.
