Car loan after house purchase? Help Please!

Hi all

Bought a house about two months ago. The electoral register and my bank account are still registered at my parents address (been v busy!).

I have decided to take out a small car loan (£5000), which will save me money on a monthly basis as getting a more economical car.

Just wondering whether to change my details now or take out the loan on my old details? Any idea if I will get a loan in the next week or two, if I change my details today? Or am I best just sticking with my old details?

Any advice welcome.

(All easily affordable on a monthly basis and I have a perfect credit score)

Apply through your bank and tell them situation. If you apply with the old address, the new address with th emortgage will show on a search and may cause you issues.

If you can afford it, then your bank will be the best people to deal with it and may just need copies of letters to prove where you live etc. to get through underwriting.
