Has anyone heard of this?
I picked up a leaflet in a childrens play place yesterday and had a look on their website.
It's basically party plan selling stuff for mums to be and clothing and things for children under 5, you get a party kit for £79.99 worth £150 retail and then the rest is up to you! to start with you have to pay £20 then you pay the remaining from your commission.
There are no targets you have to meet but there is an incentive for that if you get £1,000 sales in your first four parties you get an extra £100.
Does it sound worth doing or a con?

It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world

If it's not a con then it would be only worth doing if there is a reasonable commission and you have a suitable target market to whom you could sell and most importantly that the products are value for money and of good quality. Also how much would it actually cost you to host a party.
I've always been interested to find out if any Kleeneze, Betterware, Avon or Party Plan reps actually honestly totalled all the hours they spent working at these and divided by their commission what their true hourly rate would be.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Most of the people I know who do Avon / Kleeneze and so on, do so because it fits around their lifestyle. So, the hourly rate may not be high but you do not have child care costs, and I know with Avon you can cut your toiletries bill drastically. So, what I'm saying is that these jobs have perks, else we wouldn't put the effort in.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

Yes, I realised that for many reps it's a "convenient" way of trying to earn money, but I'd still love to know the answer. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Hi all
Have to say I have never really added up the hours that I spend on my business because truthfully it's the results that matter for me - as long as I'm earning the money, enjoying myself and keeping time aside for my family the actual time spent building my business isn't too important to me.
