Last week i entered a comp to win a 42" widescreen tv and i dont normally enter comps so this seemed a bit too good to be true!! So i clicked on the link and it took me here...

I dunno?? I'm not sure this is even the right thread to post in but just wondered what sort of joke this thing was!! How can a company send you an email telling you "You've been selected to receive a FREE 42" Plasma TV" and yet all of a sudden its not in my area (how do they even KNOW my area!!)

I'm just a little puzzled by the whole thing and instead of leaving the email sat in my inbox I thought i'd see if anyone could un-trouble my little brain, its obviously a marketing ploy but the wording is such that it implies a win??

am i just being thick??

I'd ditch it as spam if I were you.

If it seems too good to be true it generally is (unfortunately, a 42 inch plasma screen would be very nice )
