IVA Failure HELP

Hi,
My IVA has failed because I now have to pay mintenance to my estranged (soon ex) wife.:(
DFD have told me to stop paying contributions as it is no longer viable. They also asked me to make a cash offer (borrowed from family member) that they could take to creditors for a possible settlement (also because I have had no issues with payments for nearly 3 years)
How likely are the creditors to accept this with bankrutcy as the only other option. I have no assets whatsoever to lose.
