Can you buy Gaviscon in Spain ?

Hi Guys. Hope someone can help. Going to Spain (Madrid) and wonder if they sell it, so it will save me carrying it from home. Thanks.

Almax will do the same job - pretty much the same ingredients and will save you taking your own over there

Gaviscon is also available in tablet form which shouldn't weigh much

Don't know why but tablets never seem to work as well for me as the liquid.

Yeah. I was taking ranitidine daily for about 8 years. Then when the Dr said I had to have camera down (feeling of a lump in throat) I was told to stop taking tablets for two weeks before procedure. I was desperate cos I thought I wouldn't manage without the tablets but the gaviscon seemed to do the trick, cos even with the ranitidine I was still getting quite a lot of acid (think I was addicted or immune) to the tablets after taking them for so long.

Hi,
I live in Spain and as ellay864 says, Almax is the thing to buy and all chemist´s (farmacias in Spanish) stock it.
You can buy it in sachets (sobres in Spanish) or tablet form but the liquid in the "sobres" tastes better.
