Found carbon monoxide detectors reduced to £10 today in Asda at Hull. They last for 7 years and don't require fixing to the wall. You can just sit them on your furniture. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks! I did try Home Bargains first cos obviously they were a great buy but unfortunately they were all sold out in Hull. Probably due to the great free advertising they got on here!0

The other thread is brilliant but I imagine that there are people who would benefit from a thread about these detectors but have disregarded the other thread because of its ambiguous title....so I think it's a very good idea to post a similar deal with the actual product in the title!
Also many people don't have a Home Bargains nearby, like myself, so the more deals mentioned the better!0
