repayment to interest only

I've just changed my repayment mortgage to interest only because I was struggling financially. This is not permanent solution. It is only for a few months till I get back on track with my finances then I will switch back to repayments. Have I done the right thing or was it stupid?!

With respect, I don't know how you'd expect people to make an informed comment on that, given the limited information you've posted.

Given the little information, it sounds like a reasonable thing to do, as long as you do get on top of your finances and didn't have to pay any charges for doing so.

As long as you do get control of your finances then it's a reasonable move.
